Join us tomorrow night, Thursday October 1, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. for our monthly potluck at Newton’s Attic: 4974 Old Versailles Rd, Lexington. Bring a dish to share, big or small, and bring a friend who needs a dose of liberty fellowship! There’s always lots of good food and excellent company.
Our potlucks are the first Thursday of every month, go ahead and put that on your calendar. Our group has been meeting since December 2020 and no plans to stop the merriment!
These two refused to follow the ONE rule and that is that we have ONE conversation during the meeting portion of the evening. What could be worse than having to wear a mask at a liberty meeting?
Derek Nance’s Sentence
Derek had quite a large group at his sentencing which was very uplifting! Derek had to pay full restitution for any damage (he brought a cashier’s check for the total to the hearing), four weekends in jail, and 5 years probation.
Derek will be at the potluck and will share his jail time experience. We are all much relieved that he didn’t have to spend years in a cage.

Skin cancer? Nicholas Hulscher posted about a new study showing that topical vitamin C in DMSO completely ELIMINATED 56% of biopsy-confirmed skin cancers in just 12 weeks.
44% of the squamous cell carcinoma lesions SHRANK by over 85%.
94% of patients were able to AVOID surgery.
The average cancer lesion size dropped 71%.
The treatment was 30% ascorbic acid in a 95% DMSO/5% distilled-water solution, applied twice daily for 12 weeks.
DMSO was used as a skin-penetration enhancer, helping the vitamin C pass through the outer skin barrier and reach the lesion more effectively.

Israel and the US to Merge Military Operations?
The House passed Section 219 of the Fiscal Year 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (H.R. 8800) on July 22, 2026, by a vote of 216-212, retaining Section 219 despite a blocked amendment by Representatives Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna to strike the provision.
The provision directs the Secretary of Defense to designate an executive agent to coordinate bilateral defense research, development, and industrial cooperation. I’m sure this will be an unbiased selection.
Potential dangers include:
Supply-chain dependence: If important U.S. weapons rely on Israeli components, software or maintenance, restricting that relationship could disrupt U.S. readiness.
Less foreign-policy flexibility: Joint programs create costs for withdrawing support or imposing restrictions. Washington could feel pressure to preserve the relationship even when interests diverge.
Sensitive technology exposure: Sharing military technology and data creates risks of espionage, cyber breaches or use beyond what the U.S. intended.
Pressure to join conflicts: Deep cooperation can increase expectations of American support during a crisis. That is political pressure, though—not an automatic obligation to fight.
Weaker accountability: Complex arrangements involving agencies and private contractors can make it harder for Congress and the public to track responsibility, spending and how technology is used.
The Senate version of the NDAA, which has NOT been passed, contains a similar initiative under Section 1217.
