Action Alert: Please Call Sen. McConnell's Office ASAP

I've gotten several emails this morning that amendments to S.3240 the 2012 Farm Bill are being voted on TODAY.

There are two amendments critical to Kentucky's farmers. Senator Paul introduced one of them and is a co-sponsor of the other. We need calls to Senator McConnell's office as soon as possible:

Call (502) 582-6304 and tell Sen McConnell:

Please vote YES on two amendments to S.3240 the 2012 Farm Bill. Vote YES on S.AMDT.2220 re. allowing states to allow hemp farming which will give our farmers a crop with a future. And vote YES on S.AMDT.2180 sponsored by Sen. Paul the allows the direct sale of raw milk and raw milk products across state lines. This would be a huge boon to our small farmers in KY.

P.S. As I was writing this, I got an email stating that Paul's raw milk amendment did not make it onto the list of amendments to be voted on. I figure why not mention it anyway -- McConnell needs to know what we want. Thanks!
