KY Republican Party Chair Threatens Moffett and Kemper

Republican Party Chairman Steve Robertson has threatened Gubernatorial candidate Phil Moffett and State Auditor candidate John Kemper for signing a petition to allow Libertarian Ken Moellman to run for State Treasurer. See the "two" party system of Republicans and Democrats don't need 5,000 signatures to run but third party and independents do. Even though Moffett and Kemper later removed their signatures at the request of the party or face removal that seems to not be enough. Free and Equal, an organization that promotes ballot access is now reporting that the Chairman Steve Robertson wants Moffett and Kemper removed from the ballot if they win the primary, thus giving the victory to the runner ups. This shows us two things, the party is willing to resort to legal trickery to win an election if they lose, and two that they are worried.
