This month’s first Thursday gathering is
DATE: Thursday July 3rd (that’s tomorrow night)
WHERE: Shelter #2 at Jacobson Park, 4001 Athens-Boonesboro Road, Lexington. Shelter #2 is to the right of the playground and splashpad so bring the kids and bathing suits!
TIME: We have the shelter all day so come early if you want! Sally will be there about 4pm. Official picnic time is 5ish to 7:30pm. Cleanup starts at 7:30, we have to be out of the gate by 8pm.
FOOD: It’s potluck so please bring something to share. [If you don’t have something to share, come anyway!]
DRINK: We’ll have water, ice and coolers but if you want something else, BYOB.
Please clean up what you brought, leave nothing behind. Thank you!

Nursery plants are expensive—let’s help ourselves and each other grow our gardens 🌿
Our July 3rd picnic is a perfect opportunity for a plant exchange! If you have extra plants to share, bring them, then take what someone else has brought that will enhance your yard, garden or home.
Any plants not taken need to go back home with the bringer please.
