Julian’s 52nd birthday in isolation.

As dawn breaks on July 3rd in Belmarsh Prison, Julian Assange will wake to his 52nd birthday and his 11th without his freedom.
Over the last decade, Julian has been deprived of the comfort of his loved ones, the sun on his face, and the simple yet priceless freedom to walk where his feet might take him. This is a terrible pain on any day, but especially on his birthday, a day meant to be filled with joy and celebration, not confinement and solitude.
Will you take a moment to send Julian a short note on his birthday?
Your message doesn't have to be long or elaborate. A simple wish, a kind word, or an expression of empathy can go a long way. In these difficult times, a small gesture like this can mean the world to someone.
We will make sure these reach him in Belmarsh Prison in time, but the prison has strict requirements. We will need your full name and address, and you’ll need to keep your message short and general as his mail is checked and monitored.
