Good Friday Blood Drive: A Sacred Act of Sovereignty
Organized by our own Sierra Hamm
🕊️Good Friday, we remember the blood that was willingly shed for our forgiveness and we answer that gift with one of our own- Good Friday Blood Drives sponsored by The Reconciliation, across KY!
🩸 In a time when medical freedom is restricted, and the labeling of mRNA-injection free blood is prohibited, this blood drive transcends these policies.
🫀 The truth is, we know that all people need mRNA- injection free blood. We give to all people, regardless of mRNA injection status, because every life is worthy of protection. We give blood with forgiveness in our hearts toward those who persecuted us.
🌈Our goal is to ultimately build a clean, transparent, and ethically sourced blood supply—one where informed consent, bodily autonomy, and faith coexist. As we build toward the mRNA-injection free blood supply, your participation in Good Friday Blood Drives helps lay the foundation for a future rooted in both justice and compassion by:
1️⃣Adding more uninjected blood to the supply decreases the risk of anyone receiving a mRNA injected blood.
2️⃣Building a bridge with the blood center we have targeted as a potential partner for directed blood donation organizations.
3️⃣Each donation stays in Kentucky! The Kentucky Blood Center serves 90 hospitals in Kentucky and does not sell our blood to companies outside the commonwealth!
Please visit www.impactreconciliation.care for more information, including other ways you can participate if you are not eligible to donate.
You can donate any time the week of Good Friday (April 14-18). Appointments are recommended but not required. Be sure to let them know ow you’re there to donate as part of the Good Friday Blood Drive. Eat a solid meal before you show up!
** In the interest of transparency, we need to be clear that donations of our MRNA-free blood during this drive will NOT be kept separate. The purpose of this Good Friday blood drive is to build good will and strengthen the relationship of Impact Reconciliation (and our larger MAFA community) with the Kentucky Blood Center in the interest of working toward this possiblity in the future.

Derek Nance Trial Update
Derek Nance’s trial has been continued to October. It will be a four day jury trial starting on Monday, October 13th. The next pretrial hearing for both Derek and JoAnn will take place on Friday, May 9th at 8:30 a.m. in the Circuit Courthouse on the corner of Main and Limestone in Lexington. Judge Travis is typically in Courtroom D on the 2nd floor. Parking garages are around the corner on Barr Street and across Main Street at the library.
Derek and JoAnn very much appreciate the moral support, we believe having supporters in the gallery changes the perceptions of both the judge and prosecutor, and witnessing the hearings (especially the post-hearing debriefs with defense attorney Kelly Kilgore) have been an exceptionally interesting learning experience. Please consider attending.
Don’t forget to support Oxbow Meats!
Thanks to everyone who attended the wonderful presentation from the Westfall family about Oxbow Meats! Lots of you wrote to say how grateful you were to have them with us. And thanks for the samples!
For those of you who could not make it . . .

When you think about priorities, food, shelter and medicine are at the top of the list. Thursday, we will focus on food, and we are honored to be joined by Josh Wesftall, who along with his wife Stacey and some like-minded investors, decided to open a USDA meat processing plant in Lawrenceburg. This enormous venture was conceived of during the COVID lockdowns and is the result of their desire to bring sustainable meat processing that is geared toward the small family farm to the under-served Central Kentucky region.
The Westfalls and this enterprise need and deserve our support, and we need them, so please come to learn about what they have to offer and how you can help ensure their success.

Want Real, Nutrient-Dense Food? Join us in the Kentucky Food Independence Club!
Kentucky agriculture remains the foundation of our culture: raising/growing nutrient dense food for home and/or market, maintaining strong family ties, respect for property, and a strong work ethic.
Our Mission is to connect Kentucky’s “real food” farmers to educated consumers. Real health begins with clean food. As more and more of us wake up to this fact, we see an increase in consumers wanting to leave behind unhealthy practices and jump in with local "real food" farmers!
What’s a real food farmer? By “real food”, we mean NUTRIENT DENSE food raised and/or grown as close to the earth and as naturally as possible. Like:
Non-GMO or organic feed
Pastured livestock on unsprayed fields
Grass-fed cattle, mostly grass-finished but occasionally some grain-on-grass-finished, as long as the grain is non-GMO or organic and the cattle continue to live on pasture with the sun shining on their backs.
Pastured milk cows - supplemented soy-free grains while milking to keep the cows happy and standing still
Unsprayed hay
Organic gardening practices
Regenerative soil practices
The KY Food Independence Club (KFIC) is a private membership food buying club featuring healthy food provided by Ky farmers. It’s like an online grocery only all the food is REAL & healthy. Nutrient dense foods like…
farm fresh raw milk & dairy products (butter, cream, yogurt, cottage cheese, sour cream and more)
raw milk cheeses
pastured eggs
grass-fed, pastured meats
organic sourdough bread & other baked goods
local honey
