Obama names steelers owner new Ambassador to Ireland

President Obama named Pittsburgh Steelers owner Dan Rooney as the new Ambassador to Ireland. Rooney notified Obama of his interest in being Amb. to Ireland in early 2008. Then Rooney became one of Obama's top campaign contributors. Rooney not only gave himself, but he was one of Obama's top fundraisers bringing in millions of dollars. Rooney appeared on stage during Obama campaign rallies many times in western Pennsylvania against Hillary Clinton and again against John McCain.

Some folks like Blago get impeached because of pay-to-play politics, others get a free pass.
