Whether we like it or not, powerful forces are threatening our diet in new ways … ways that most of us never dreamed of. This event explains what changes are already here, what is coming, how it is being done, and what we can do to preserve our food choices and our independent farmers.
Farmers are being squeezed from many directions:
U.S. chicken farmers were forced to cull 100 million birds since 2022 to prevent bird flu. It didn't work.
Dairy farmers are being pressured to implement expensive "biosecurity" measures in dairies. Yet no one has caught bird flu from food or milk.
Cows belch methane, a greenhouse gas — so their number must be reduced, it is said.
A diminishing number of USDA-approved slaughterhouses means ranchers are unable to expand their herds to meet demand.
The combined political pressures of pandemic preparedness and climate have coerced a reduction in sources of animal protein for human consumption.
Lab-grown meats, insect proteins, and a panoply of genetically engineered foodstuffs are rushing to fill the void.
Owners of land under conservation easements may soon see restrictions on land use.
Hundreds of insect farms are already churning out products we and our animals will be expected to eat.
Understand what is happening. We can turn this onslaught around and preserve our right to choose our own food! That is why we are bringing you this program.
The symposium producers, Children's Health Defense and Door to Freedom, are committed to healthier, educated families, and together produced this critically important program.
We hope you join us for this informative 2-day event on CHD TV!

When you think about priorities, food, shelter and medicine are at the top of the list. Thursday, we will focus on food, and we are honored to be joined by Josh Wesftall, who along with his wife Stacey and some like-minded investors, decided to open a USDA meat processing plant in Lawrenceburg. This enormous venture was conceived of during the COVID lockdowns and is the result of their desire to bring sustainable meat processing that is geared toward the small family farm to the under-served Central Kentucky region.
The Westfalls and this enterprise need and deserve our support, and we need them, so please come to learn about what they have to offer and how you can help ensure their success.

Want Real, Nutrient-Dense Food? Join us in the Kentucky Food Independence Club!
Kentucky agriculture remains the foundation of our culture: raising/growing nutrient dense food for home and/or market, maintaining strong family ties, respect for property, and a strong work ethic.
Our Mission is to connect Kentucky’s “real food” farmers to educated consumers. Real health begins with clean food. As more and more of us wake up to this fact, we see an increase in consumers wanting to leave behind unhealthy practices and jump in with local "real food" farmers!
What’s a real food farmer? By “real food”, we mean NUTRIENT DENSE food raised and/or grown as close to the earth and as naturally as possible. Like:
Non-GMO or organic feed
Pastured livestock on unsprayed fields
Grass-fed cattle, mostly grass-finished but occasionally some grain-on-grass-finished, as long as the grain is non-GMO or organic and the cattle continue to live on pasture with the sun shining on their backs.
Pastured milk cows - supplemented soy-free grains while milking to keep the cows happy and standing still
Unsprayed hay
Organic gardening practices
Regenerative soil practices
The KY Food Independence Club (KFIC) is a private membership food buying club featuring healthy food provided by Ky farmers. It’s like an online grocery only all the food is REAL & healthy. Nutrient dense foods like…
farm fresh raw milk & dairy products (butter, cream, yogurt, cottage cheese, sour cream and more)
raw milk cheeses
pastured eggs
grass-fed, pastured meats
organic sourdough bread & other baked goods
local honey
