MAFA’s September potluck coming right up! Join us this Thursday 9/4 at 6:30pm at Newton’s Attic, 4974 Old Versailles Rd in Lexington. We’ve had wonderful turnouts this summer at the potlucks. There is a hearing the morning after the potluck for Joanne and Derek, Derek will be at the potluck to give us an update. Address is below.
IT HELPS SO MUCH TO HAVE SUPPORTERS IN THE AUDIENCE even if nothing “substantial” happens. The judge has been very impressed with our support, that means a LOT. These aren’t two crazy spray paint wielding kids. They are adult humans with serious concerns that we all share and have talked about since March 2020.
What if we hadn’t had each other during the last 5 years?
Address is Fayette County Circuit Court, 120 N Limestone, Courtroom 2 (2nd Floor), Lexington. This is the courthouse on the corner of Main and Limestone. Parking garages are around the corner on Barr Street and across Main Street at the library. There is often meter parking on the surrounding streets.
P.S. As of now, the trial is set to start October 13th. Heaven knows what will come of it, but Joanne and Derek are prepared to give it everything. They welcome everyone to fill the courtroom to witness the main event. Please join us this Friday am and save the date for the trial!
