If anyone knows any of the rules for Louisville - please let me know - I rent in a house and have been gone for 10 months and the landlord probably let it happen , that said there is no way my house can go analog...
Go look at your meter and compare it to the pics in the post. Or call your service provider and ask. Why is there no way your house can go analog? It was analog for years (unless it's new).
We have 2 meters on our home, originally to separate business usage. To switch our service to one meter by private contractor would be $6000. I’d be in my mid-90s before I’d recover that cost compared to the penalty of opting out of 2 meters vs 1, as KU charges an initial opt out fee of $80, then $39 per month per meter---a major dent in our fixed retirement income. I haven’t yet figured the cost of my latest idea: getting faraday material to make cover-alls with hoods to wear over our clothes when we’re at home. Hard to believe that a rational person must consider such bizarre behavior!

Kenergy serves my area and does not allow opt-out.

WOW. That's insane. There must be a rational way to protect your health. I'll be posting what I discover. Thank you!
