Indiana farmer Richard Hochstetler was subpoenaed by the Department of Justice recently on behalf of the FDA to appear before a federal grand jury. He was ordered to testify in court tomorrow concerning a foodborne illness outbreak that was linked to his Forest Grove Dairy by the USDA and other public health officials. But yesterday he received a letter stating he did not have to appear in court at this time.
